Tour overview

Rishikesh, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas along the sacred Ganges River, is revered as the "Yoga Capital of the World" and a premier spiritual destination in India. This holy city in Uttarakhand marks the point where the Ganges descends from the mountains to the plains, creating a powerful spiritual energy that has attracted sages, yogis, and seekers for millennia.

The city is adorned with numerous ashrams and temples offering traditional yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic practices. The iconic Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula suspension bridges span the crystal-clear Ganges, while the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat creates a mesmerizing spectacle of light and devotion. Rishikesh gained international fame when The Beatles visited Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's ashram in the 1960s.
