Tour overview
Northeast India, connected to the mainland by a narrow corridor, comprises seven sister states that offer an extraordinary cultural mosaic unlike anywhere else in the country. This frontier region shares more borders with Bhutan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and China than with mainland India, resulting in unique ethnic diversity with over 200 tribal groups. This specialized package introduces travelers to pristine landscapes of misty hills, emerald valleys, and terraced fields while providing authentic interactions with tribal communities. Experience their distinctive architecture, vibrant costumes, traditional music, ancient agricultural practices, and rich culinary heritage in a part of India few travelers ever explore.
