Tour overview

Day 1: Arrival in Kochi

Explore Fort Kochi's colonial heritage including the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Dutch Palace. Evening Kathakali dance performance showcasing Kerala's classical art form.

Day 2: Kochi to Munnar

Drive through cardamom hills to Munnar (4 hours), stopping at waterfalls and viewpoints. Afternoon visit to tea plantations and tea museum to learn about production processes.

Day 3: Munnar Exploration

Full day exploring Munnar's attractions including Eravikulam National Park (home to endangered Nilgiri Tahr), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and flower gardens. Optional trek through tea estates with spectacular mountain views.

Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady

Morning drive to Thekkady (3 hours), home to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Afternoon boat cruise on Periyar Lake spotting wildlife. Evening spice plantation tour and cultural show featuring martial arts and folk dances.

Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey

Drive to Alleppey (4 hours), the gateway to Kerala's backwaters. Board a traditional houseboat for an overnight cruise through palm-fringed canals, observing village life and enjoying freshly prepared Kerala cuisine on board.

Day 6: Alleppey to Kovalam

Disembark houseboat after breakfast. Drive to Kovalam (4 hours) with its crescent-shaped beaches. Afternoon relaxation on the beach or ayurvedic massage at a traditional center.

Day 7: Kovalam Beach Day and Departure
